It’s that duo again! Optiv & BTK return on their own label Dutty Audio with Drop It and Whatever. Consistently pulling out banger after banger, the duo continue on their path of glory with these two undisputably big tracks.
Atmospherix - System Break/Atmospherix & Hydro - Duende (IMLTD1206)
Atmospherix and Hydro team up for this bubbling 2 piece vinyl-only release on IM:Ltd. First up, Atmospherix drops this weighted techy roller entitled System Break. Featuring snippets of spaceship-like samples alongside constant sweeps, Atmospherix really does make this piece sound like some kind of system breakdown of an interstellar ship. Sounds crazy, we know, but you get what we’re saying.
On the flip Atmospherix and Hydro drop another roller with Duende, this time with soft, floating vocals on top of a grinding, grizzly bass line. A tasty treat from this well-set duo.
Dave Shichman drops this beautiful piece entitled House For Abandon. Simple drums reinforce the warm, glowing bass line before strings slowly enter the track. A track so simple, yet colourful in sound. A wicked minimal liquid track, perfect for this summer vibe!
Hungarian producer Giocator drops his latest creation on Break-Fast Audio with the Better World EP. Featuring deep and rolling subs, Giocator puts industrial samples and effects to great use, giving each track an air of depth and futurism.
Though providing two brilliant techy rollers, Giocator also gives us two slower pieces, firstly with Shadowdub, which some could say is a tech/hip hop fusion. Next we’re given Kill Me Now, a rumbling 2-step piece with a chilling vocal sample. Perfect for those dark, dingy clubs at the dead of night!
Topping it off, Giocator drops The Ludovico Technique, a wobbbling, and industrial piece. A vibrant techy roller with ever changing samples and effects.

Many of you may have already heard it, but Dub Phizix has managed to pull out another abosultely stonking 2-step roller, this time in the shape of Never Been. With Fox stepping up to add some undeniably fitting vocals to this already bumping track, this piece truly makes the speakers come alive when it’s played. With this deep minimal Jungle-esque piece smashing up dancefloors across the nation it’s only fitting that we give it some air time on our on page, and rightly so.
Phil Tangent - Forgiveness/The Hardest Part (RRD030)
Phil Tangent takes over the sounds for Rubik Digital’s 30th release with Forgiveness and The Hardest Part. Two equally bubbling pieces, Phil Tangent turns them into warm rollers respectively. Perfect sounds for the start of summer.
A/ Phil Tangent - Forgiveness B/ Phil Tangent - The Hardest Part
Technicolour & Komatic - Launch Sequence/Stay ft. Jayma (SPEAR043)
The undisputable Technicolour & Komatic duo continue their path of liquid funk with their forthcoming release on Spearhead Records. Fast-paced yet warm and welcoming, both tracks hit hard and do not disappoint. Grab a listen and you’ll know what we mean.
For @HustleAudio’s 10th EP, the label drops one of Finland’s best kept sectrets in the shape of producer and DJ, Defo. Hailing from Helsinki, this man spins us up a fresh batch of ice cold basslines for one of England’s finest up-and-coming labels; Hustle Audio. After listening through this stunning EP its surprising no one has heard this wicked producer before. Defo even leaves the finest piece to the end, a 2-step pieces of brilliance, entitled Under Your Breathe.
4 pieces of ice-laden bass tracks. Enjoy it.

Newcomers Andy Pain & Z Connection join Interactive Recordings to bring us some truly rumbling sounds in the shape of their Atlant EP. Featuring an array of glitches and effects, the duo manage to brings us some despicably low sounds, with a track like Plutonium sounding clear only on a lovely sub!
A brilliant concotion of crazily low bass lines, wild samples and effects. Definitely worth a grab.

James Turner, aka Comfort, joins IM:Ltd once again to bring us ‘a breathe of fresh air’ in a place of dark and grizzly rhythms, and he does this in the form of The James Turner EP.
Brilliant piano sections are muffled out, whilst backing the warm and vibrant bass lines that this Plymouth-based producer conjures up, and the EP immediately jump into life with Shore Leave. Comfort manages to effortlessly feed us a mixture of minimal and liquid vibes, as this EP really does lighten up the mood from what is brilliant, but dark sounds from IM:Ltd.
A personal favourite of ours is The Old Hospital, it’s ever-so-light piano notes backed by a distant saxophone before slowly sliding into the bubbling sounds of the drop.
A/ Comfort - Shore Leave B/ Comfort - Scillonian Bay C/ Comfort - Thin Blue Line D/ Comfort - The Old Hospital
Majestics drops this beautiful piece of liquid courtesy of Liquid Tones. Featuring a heavy jazz influence, the electric piano and light percussion hits go hand in hand before the warm bassline joins it altogether for a perfect little freebie for the coming summer!!
Nymfo drops us a taster of what’s to come on Klute’s Commercial Suicide- some very dirty basslines.
Starting off the vibes, Nymfo drops us a wicked deep roller in the shape of Under Fire. A wall of subs and tight percussion, this track will have any listener getting their wobble on.
On the flip, Nymfo cranks up the tempo alongside June Miller with Boshoven. Immediately from the drop, June Miller’s sound is present, with Nymfo tweaking the track to bring us a truly dirty piece. Some might say Neuro Funk, but in our eyes it’s just down right gully, switching up the vibe effortlessly from Under Fire.
