Roy Green, Protone & Scepticz/M-Zine & Scepticz - Boulet/Impulse (EMOTION005)

Scepticz teams up with the likes of Roy Green & Protone and M-Zine to bring us E-motion Records latest piece of tasty bass. Changing the vibe up slightly, we’re presented with two raw, techy numbers starting off with Boulet. Roy Green, Protone & Scepticz team up to bring us this fast-paced dirty roller, with tight clicky drums and a dark growling synth giving it a raw edge.

On the flip, M-Zine and Scepticz bring us this half-time track entitled Impulse, containing a deep, rocking bass line alongside short, but effective synth stabs. With the skipping drums effortlessly carrying the listener along, each element of the track comes together to bring us a bumping set starter.

(EMOTION005) Out April 9th on E-motion Records.

Pennygiles, Roy Green & Protone - Entity

Pennygiles teams up with Roy Green & Protone to bring us this deep, funky roller entitled Entity. A warm, gliding bass line placed alongside a lovely clicky drum beat makes the track sound reminiscent of some of Command Strange’s latest stuff. By all means a big compliment to these 3 highly-skilled producers.

Roy Green & Protone - Tuesday Midnight Blues/Illusion (BLUS016)

Stepping away from his more usual sound of warm, soulful liquid, Roy Green teams up with Protone to bring us some deep and bumping techy drum and bass on Blu Saphir. Warm synths and tight clicky drums makes up Tuesday Midnight Blues, whilst Illusion consists of long, Cosmic sweeps and a stupidly-deep bassline. Another two stomping tracks (though Illusion is our favourite) from the Blu Saphir Music Group, continuing to push the sound of the label from the depths of the European D&B scene.

(BLUS016) Out March 20th on Blu Saphir Recordings.

Just another bit of the old sub bass from Roy Green & Protone…

Roy Green & Protone - Modus Operandi

Unsigned bass-weighted dirtiness from RoyGreen and friends. Turn the speakers and the sub up for this one.
