Lung - Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything? EP (MEDIC28)
@MedSchoolMusic drops Lung’s brilliant Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything? EP. Featuring beautiful vocals from Rachel K Collier on the title track, Lung effortlessly winds down the BPM to slower sounds with Sky People. Brilliant, bubbling bass notes on top of what can only be described as weightless skipping drums.
After this, we quickly move on to Asleep In Her Bed, a deep atmospheric piece containing a cacophony of clicks and notes, bringing the listener sounds reminiscent of Bluetech’s Triange (Retriangulated) albeit a little faster!
Lung the steps up the pace once more for Complete Me, Completely, a hard stomping bass line, with a brilliantly skipped rhythm and perfect use of percussion.
To top it off, we’re given a radio edit of Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything? with it’s warm, welcoming bass notes, soft strings, and wonderful floating vocals from Rachel K Collier.
In all, a outstanding EP from Lung. Something you expect no less than from Med School!

@MedSchoolMusic drops a little taster from its forthcoming compilation album entitled Blood Pressure. Featuring a blend of up-and-coming artists and producers that are already well-known, this album will show Med School’s continuing ability to highlight and source brilliantly talented producers from across the globe.
Here we have the sounds of Frederic Robinson, a 19 year old swiss producer with a warm upbeat sound like no other. In his own words, producing music for people with a ‘broad horizon and short attention span’, his words are easily backed up by his production skills. Roadtrip shows this with it’s use of light strings, tight claps and warm rolling bassline. Just one of many new producers to look out for from Med School’s forthcoming release Blood Pressure.

The delicious sounds of Bop are once again being released by none other than Hospital Records’ smaller, more experimental label Med School Music.
Bop’s latest piece The Amazing Adventures of One Curious Pixel indulges in 8-bit inspired heavy synths, and jazz inspired bpm grooves, to bring you something truly special. Starting off with his own Slo-mo Funk inspired Electronica, Bop takes you on a journey through a wave of bass and fluctuating melodies that will see you right the way through to the end of this album before you know it. From the house vibes of Sunrain, to the sub-ridden drum & bass remix of Subwave’s I Need You, this album is sure to please.
Big things from Sunrain & Intercontinental Meltdown
