Nymfo drops us a taster of what’s to come on Klute’s Commercial Suicide- some very dirty basslines.
Starting off the vibes, Nymfo drops us a wicked deep roller in the shape of Under Fire. A wall of subs and tight percussion, this track will have any listener getting their wobble on.
On the flip, Nymfo cranks up the tempo alongside June Miller with Boshoven. Immediately from the drop, June Miller’s sound is present, with Nymfo tweaking the track to bring us a truly dirty piece. Some might say Neuro Funk, but in our eyes it’s just down right gully, switching up the vibe effortlessly from Under Fire.

Blade & Arp-1 - The Lithuanian Beauty EP (EXPRESS007)
Blade & Arp-1 join forces to bring us this vibrant liquid jungle in the shape of The Lithuanian Beauty EP. Out on the Dutch heavyweight, Fokuz Recordings, the mixture of deep cosmic notes and light, yet ever rolling drums, from this collaborating duo does not disappoint.

D.Side steps up for E-Motion’s latest release with his bubbling Eradicate EP. With slow yet bumping drums in each track, D.Side presents us with an EP able to cater for any crowd. Warm, yet grizzly bass lines are encorporated into each tune effortlessly, and D.Side’s ability to produce such impeccable tracks really shows.
What’s so good about this EP is the simplicity in each track, whilst still maintaining a solid upbeat vibe with each minimal number.

Blu Mar Ten - Love Is The Devil Remix Pt. 1 (dBridge & Marcus Intalex)
Marcus Intalex & dBridge lead the way with the first in a series of remixed releases of Blu Mar Ten’s Love Is The Devil LP. Starting off, Marcus Intalex whips up some wonderful chilled vibes with his take on All Thoughts Are Prayers. Spectral sweeps, and gliding basslines bringing sounds reminiscent to some of Hospital’s earlier mix CDs.
On the flip dBridge takes the spot with Sweet Little Supernova. A deep, 170bpm feel is immediately installed as only dBridge knows how. Shuffling drums, and dark underlying growl from the bass, has this piece fitting perfectly in anyone’s 170 mix.

Random Movement & Dave Owen - Child’s Play/Connections (PMD003)
Two of America’s finest liquid drum & bass producers team up to bring us this absolutely wicked release on Prestige Music Group. Starting off with light, warming sounds of Child’s Play, Random Movement and Dave Owen do what they do best. Light, gliding jazz piano alongside a deep yet, mellow bass line to bring us something truly special for the encroaching summer. On top of this, the addition of distant horns and repeated snippets of a darker bassline, Child’s Play sets the scene brilliantly before moving on to the flipside.
On the B-side, Random Movement takes the reigns to bring us an absolutely bumping piece with Connections. A diving bass line, accompanied by a distant horn sample sets the pace before being joined by a handful of synth pads. A dancefloor stormer, Connections effortlessly bridges the gap between bassy-roller and liquid funk.

Marcus Intalex - Sell Your Soul/The Guillotine Soul:R
After almost 12 months from the release of his critically acclaimed debut album 21, Intalex returns with a handful of dancefloor bangers. First off we have Sell You Soul, a warm soulful piece, bringing with it the reminiscent sounds of the early ’00s. Warm, spectral sweeps and a bubbling bass line will have all the summer ravers bumping about.
On the flip Marcus Intalex takes things a little deeper with The Guillotine. Some could say the vibe is similar to some of Total Science’s pieces, but to be perfectly honest, this track is just down-right dirty. Big, gliding bass notes and tight sweeps gives this piece a wicked wavey vibe, perfect for storming the dancefloor with!

Ella Jones/Fracture - Lately (Fracture’s Astraphonica Remix)/Tunnel Track (WARM021)
Fracture, one half of London’s Fracture & Neptune duo, joins Warm Communications for their next release. Starting off with a remix of Ella Jones’ track Lately, Fracture provides a mix of warm bubbling bass alongside shifting drums to compliment Ella’s brilliant vocals.
On the flipside, we’re presented with a walla of bass in the shape of Tunnel Track. A solid piece, containing shaky drums and a ridiculously rolling bass line, perfect for if you’re just getting on the dancefloor. A definite crowd pleaser.

Utopia Music gears up to release these to ultimate bangers from Mikal, entitled Headbanger and The Chant.
Seen on the likes of Metalheadz, SGN:Ltd and Horizons Music, Mikal joins the ranks of Utopia Music with his first release since dropping his EP on Skream’s label Disfigured Dubz.
Starting off with Headbanger, Mikal draws for the slower, darker sounds, drawing on influences from some of Metalheadz older pieces. Tight and aggressive drums alongside old skool fills paves way for the distorted wobbled sounds of the drop. Gliding, wavey sounds teamed with distant pads has this piece bouncing along all the way through.
Next up we’re presented with The Chant, a deep, and relentless track. Chopped, skipping drums breaks up the rhythm with it’s 2-step vibe before dropping a wave of sub bass to join the roster. With the wavey drums and ridiculously heavy bass coming together, this track will make any set take a step into the darker realms of drum & bass. Wicked B-side sounds.
Jekyl drops us this wicked single on @diffrentmusic entitled Drainpipe and Blabbermouth. Starting things off is Drainpipe, with Jekyl throwing us right into the mix with the track’s bassline holding a dark, wavey growl alongside quiet sweeps and samples. A bubbling techy roller, Drainpipe is definitely one to get the dance floor moving, before switching it up to the more minimal sounds of Blabbermouth.
With sounds reminiscent of some of Dub Phizix more recent pieces, you can see this piece really gaining weight upon its release. Simple, skipping drums makes way for the wall of sub that appears on the drop, the bass line a grotty and shuffling sound. With it all culminating on the second drop, this minimal number pulls it out the bag nicely. A track that will bring out the screwface on all the listeners.
Karma/Colossus - Half Way To Heaven/Under The Weather (Karma Remix) [EMOTION006]
Karma takes the reigns for E-motion Records 6th release, featuring the sounds of colossus on the flip.
First we have Half Way To Heaven, with some warm, upfront-liquid flavours. A colourful, wobbling bass line alongside short floating keyboard notes has this piece flowing perfectly for the Spring season.
On the flip we have Karma’s remix of Under The Weather, featuring delayed triplets and sly synth stabs that brings this tune together effortlessly.

Yes, that’s right, Icicle is finally about to drop his long-awaited dubstep EP on @ShogunAudio. Featuring the sounds of Together In The Dust and BNC, this EP is set to take to the streets by storm once it’s released.
Though many of you may already know all of the tracks on Icicle’s forthcoming EP, this four track release will not disappoint his dubstep fans, due to each piece’s ridiculous bass line and exquisite drums and effects.
In all, a ridiculously big EP to lookout for.

Starting off with the deep rolling bass lines of Bladerunner and V Recordings, we have Crazy. Featuring hard, head-shaking drums and bass perfect for any true dance floor skanker. On the flip Dope Ammo and Resinate team up to remix Drunken Master’s Effective Style. Containing bubbling upfront flavours, this jump up track is perfect for the middle of any upfront set.
Lung - Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything? EP (MEDIC28)
@MedSchoolMusic drops Lung’s brilliant Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything? EP. Featuring beautiful vocals from Rachel K Collier on the title track, Lung effortlessly winds down the BPM to slower sounds with Sky People. Brilliant, bubbling bass notes on top of what can only be described as weightless skipping drums.
After this, we quickly move on to Asleep In Her Bed, a deep atmospheric piece containing a cacophony of clicks and notes, bringing the listener sounds reminiscent of Bluetech’s Triange (Retriangulated) albeit a little faster!
Lung the steps up the pace once more for Complete Me, Completely, a hard stomping bass line, with a brilliantly skipped rhythm and perfect use of percussion.
To top it off, we’re given a radio edit of Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything? with it’s warm, welcoming bass notes, soft strings, and wonderful floating vocals from Rachel K Collier.
In all, a outstanding EP from Lung. Something you expect no less than from Med School!

Featuring, deep yet warming 140bpm bass notes, Menik’s Close To You EP encompasses the dark, subbed sounds of the old 00s dubstep alongside the sounds of todays current ‘post-dubstep’ scene to create something fresh and bubbling.
Containing remixes from Cliffhanga and Indigo, this EP is definitely worth the money, let alone worth the listening time.
